Instructables: a website for makers and do-it-yourselfers

Instructables is a website specializing in user-created and uploaded do-it-yourself projects, which other users can comment on and rate for quality. It was created by Eric Wilhelm and Saul Griffith and launched in August 2005. Instructables is dedicated to step-by-step collaboration among members to build a variety of projects. Users post instructions to their projects, usually accompanied by visual aids, and then interact through comment sections below each Instructable step as well in topic forums.

This is a great website for anyone who likes to create and build almost anything.
Do It Yourselfers will find many inspiring ideas to start your projects at Instructables.

This was a fun project, I built a small fan out of spare parts I had laying around.

Having a few coconut shells laying around made this project possible; a unique candle holder that floats as a bonus!

After researching dog kennels and seeing how expensive they are I made this inexpensive alternative.

Being an avid camper and hating to sleep on soggy ground in a wet tent I decided to do something about it. I made this unique roof top camper from parts I found at a local car wreck yard.
